REIMBURSEMENT PROCEDRURE FOR STUDENT

Out Patient Treatment

• Reimbursement for OPD treatment can be claimed up to a sum of Rs 1000/- through insurance. The bills have to be submitted within a period of a month from the date of prescription for insurance claim.
• Reimbursement for OPD treatment over and above Rs 1000/- [claimed through insurance] and up to a sum of 5000/- can be claimed as per SJMCH rate through student medical care scheme of IISc. Claim forms have to be submitted within a period of 6 months from the date of prescription for availing claims.
• Reimbursement over and above 6000/- can be claimed for reimbursement through student welfare scheme, student medical committee will process the request after discussion as per SJMCH (St.Jhons Medical College Hospital) rate.
• The Printed Bills with GST are Mandatory for submission of Claims. Handwritten bills are not accepted for reimbursement.
• The Claims Submitted after six months of availing treatment will not be admitted for payment.
• The claims will be passed for the admissible amount and payment will be made along with the stipend of the month by crediting to their respective Bank Account.
